Spreading over an area of 1.2 ha within theInstitute’s campus lays the Research Farm for the purpose of demonstration of few important horticultural crops of NE region and volumetric measurement of irrigation water, crop experiments etc. to trainees and visitors. The farm has irrigation facilities using ground water through two Shallow Tube Wells (STWs) with net work of lined channels fitted with water measuring devices.
