NERIWALM is premier institute of north eastern region, engaged in dissemination of technology and research and development studies in the field of water and land management for enhancement of agricultural productivity through improvement of water management. The Governing Body of NERIWALM in its meeting held on 22nd March, 2018 chaired by the Hon’ble Minister, Water Resources River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Govt. of India, approved for introducing academic courses to offer Certificate, Post Graduate Diploma and Post Graduate Degree Courses and affiliation of the institute to an University for the said purpose. The courses approved are as follows-

1. Certificate in Water Resources Management
2. Certificate in Information Technology
3. Certificate in Organic Farming
4. Certificate in Rural Development
5. Post Graduate Diploma in Water Resources Management
6. Graduate Degree (M.Tech) in Water Resources Management

The course on Water Resources Management is an Integrated Course, which may be continued upto PG Degree (M.Tech.) from Certificate by eligible student.
